INGREDIENTES: Water, Montmorillonite, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Polyethylene, Camellia Oleifera (Green Tea) Leaf Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Chamomile) Flower Extract, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Hedera Helix (Ivy) Extract, Symphytum Officinale (Comfrey) Leaf Extract, Lavandula Hybrida (Lavender) Oil, Glycerin, Fragrance, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Diazolidinyl Urea.
Pro:
- Olor placentero
- Empaque bonito (frasco)
- No me dio reacción alérgica
Contra:
- Costoso.
MUCHO, MUCHO TIEMPO!
Me he sentido un poco decaída y retirada. Hoy decidí tomar tiempo y sentarme a escribir.
Me toca hacer TODO!
Review: amika Nourishing Mask (Hair)
I love to color my hair and fry it with heat! I totally abuse my hair. I DO! But there are Hair Wizards aka Bad-ass Chemists/Scientists out there concocting potions to repair damage done to beautiful manes, like mine (yeah, I like my hair a little…).
Upon opening the tube, I was overcome by the SUPER STRONG floral-like scent. Personally, I’m not the biggest fan of overly scented hair/skin products, the smell interferes with other products you may use that smell and it just all goes wrong and it’s one big headache.
I proceeded to use the product and was surprised that the nice thick cream was almost balm-like. I used about a half-dollar size (little bigger than a quarter) and spread it all through my hair; waited 10 minutes; rinsed. My hair DID feel softer while rinsing the product and initially combing it after the shower, but it didn’t feel softer when dry or appear smoother.
I used it again at the end of the week with the same results, and had just enough for half a treatment the third time. I experienced the same result, but will not totally count the last use, as it wasn’t a full dose of product.
I felt like the Amika Nourishing Mask is just another overly smelly conditioner that marginally works, but doesn’t deliver true deep conditioning.
At $28, I don’t feel that I would purchase this product or tell a friend to try it.
Struggled to press publish
I’m the face the secretly Bipolar Depressive mother, living in a nice Suburban neighborhood just trying to pretend me that is not me. But if you’re reading this, you shall know the truth.
I am not crazy, I don’t talk to myself in corners or scream at people randomly. I don’t hear voices or have random thoughts of hurting myself or others.
I do however, get really happy and ultra motivated to the extremes that I am annoying some days. Then there is the bad days that I feel overly sad that it is hard staying focused.
For years I struggled to following through with many things. Not because I didn’t want to, not because I wasn’t interested, or a flake. I failed to execute many of my ideas/projects because my mind was all over the place and part of the time was trying to cope with just making “today” happen without a meltdown.
In recent months, I’ve had some major heart-to-hearts with my husband and he never understood why I never finished any of my brilliant ideas/projects. I tried to explain how I functioned and it still didn’t make sense to him.
I am now very controlled with medication and doing very well. I write this to show and tell the world that being Bipolar is not necessarily an ugly ailment. Yes it sucks at times, but we are normal people with “a few more spices in our stew”.
I will press the publish button, even if I regret it two minutes later and want to hide under a rock…
Small Town Style
I was out in Boulder Creek this weekend and had an AMAZING time with my family! We had a blast at the local fire house on 4th of July and were treated to a pancake breakfast by the community Firemen then a SPLENDID parade in town off highway 9.
The day was beautiful, clear and the crowd was in a great mood. Fun patriotic outfits were everywhere and great festival attire was out on display. I found stylish men, women & children! It was a great day with people showing their love for our country with patriotic colors and of course, their love for fashion…
Here’s some snap shots of what I got…
The following day we went to a really cool lumber jack festival and met some really wonderful people, ate great food, saw fun things and once again cute outfits!
Here are my snapshots…
